How to choose padel club software in 2026

Prices, commissions and the questions to ask before you sign, written by the team that builds this software and uses it every day in Belgian centres. We sell one of these tools, and we say so below.

By Miguel Fernandez, founder of MF International Partners. Last updated: 4 November 2026.

The short answer

If you have empty courts and no audience, a marketplace such as Playtomic or Anybuddy brings players, and you pay commission on those bookings. If your courts already fill, a subscription tool keeps the customer relationship with you. If you also run a bar, a team and a building, check what is really included: booking tools usually sell the till, door access and lights separately.

Three kinds of tool

Marketplaces

Playtomic, Anybuddy

Players search the app and book. The club pays commission on those bookings, and the player stays in the app.

Booking subscriptions

Doinsport, Gestion Sports

A monthly price for booking, members and communication, under your name. Till, access control and lights depend on the plan or come on quote.

Full centre systems

Ours, among others

Booking, till, door, lights, staff and stock in one system. A higher monthly price, fewer separate contracts.

Public prices compared

Read on 16 September 2026 on each publisher's public pages, or on a third-party source where stated. Excluding VAT unless stated. They change: ask for a written offer.

Six questions to ask before you sign

What do I pay on each booking?

Ask for the rate in writing, for each channel: your own page, the app, the counter. Add the payment provider's fee. On an average basket of EUR 29, our Bancontact cost came to 1.2%.

Whose customers are they?

Can you email your players, and can you leave with their details? A marketplace and a tool under your name do not give the same answer.

Is the till included, and does it follow payments?

If the till and the booking tool are separate, someone reconciles them by hand. Ask to see a refund go through both.

Who opens the door and switches the lights?

A match at 8 pm with nobody at the desk only works if the code, the lights and the ventilation follow the booking. Ask what happens when the control box stops answering.

Who plans the staff?

In the public lists we read in September 2026, we found no booking tool that also handles availability, rosters and clock-in. If you have a team, price that tool too.

What happens on the day you leave?

Whose payment account is it? Is there a commitment? Can you take your data? Get the answers before the first invoice.

What we learned running it ourselves

Most counter payments can go without a terminal. In our Sint-Niklaas centre, 87% of Stripe payments were taken by QR code on the customer screen. It stops being the cheapest option at about 250 to 300 Bancontact payments a month at the counter: above that, a rented terminal can cost less.

The bigger bill is time. Bought separately, a booking tool, a till, a roster tool, a newsletter tool and a rented terminal come to about EUR 420 a month. The tasks they leave to you, by our count, take 90 to 100 hours a month of manager or staff time.

A marketplace and your own page can work together. In Ghent, Playtomic bookings are read into the schedule every five minutes, so the manager sees every booking in one place.

Our interest in this

We sell one of the tools above, so read this page with that in mind and check the sources below. If another tool suits your club better, use it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best software for a padel club?
It depends on what you need most. For new players, a marketplace. For a club that already fills its courts, a subscription under your own name. For a centre with a bar, staff and automated doors, a full system. Compare the total monthly cost, commission included.
How much does padel club software cost?
Booking subscriptions started at about EUR 179 to 250 a month on the public pages we read on 16 September 2026, with till and access often extra. Marketplaces add commission on the bookings they bring.
Does Playtomic charge clubs a commission?
Bookings made through the Playtomic app carry a commission for the club. Playtomic does not publish the rate; a third-party comparison puts it at 5 to 15%. Ask for it in writing.
Can a padel club run with nobody at the desk?
Yes, if booking, payment, door codes and lights work together. We describe such an evening, minute by minute, on our software page.
